Country meets Rock ‘n Roll: Whilst the famous annual Reading Festival is held on the Caversham borders, each August Bank Holiday, The Fox & Hounds on Gosbrook Road played host to a gig by “The Nerks” in April 1960, better known as John Lennon & Paul McCartney. And it’s not just the Chiltern Hills that provides breathtaking scenery, an amble along the Thames Path, a walk-through Bugs Bottom, or a trip to Mapledurham are equally great for the soul.

Property Market: Caversham is home to some of the most desirable roads in the area, from The Warren on the riverside, up St Peters Hill and into Caversham Heights, glorious turn of the century (20th) palacial detached residence.
